Stacy L. Hosking, DVM, DACVIM (Cardiology)
Dr. Hosking received her Doctor of Veterinary Medicine degree from The Ohio State University in 1992. Following graduation, she worked as an associate at a small animal and equine hospital in Reno, Nevada. She completed her internship in small animal medicine and surgery at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital (1993-1994) where she received the Intern of the Year award.
She completed her residency in cardiology at Angell Memorial Animal Hospital in Boston, Massachusetts (1994-1996). Following completion of her residency, Dr. Hosking was on staff at VCA West Los Angeles Animal Hospital and Advanced Veterinary Care Center until returning to Reno in 2003. She became a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Internal Medicine (Cardiology) in 2000.
Dr. Hosking's interests include clinical practice focusing on client education and state of the art treatment plans, the clinical use of new cardiac medications and the medical treatment of congestive heart failure. Dr. Hosking also performs cardiac consultations for an electrocardiographic monitoring center in California
